Elissa Micallef (Convenor of Voices of Banks) grew up in Peakhurst Heights and lives in the Banks electorate.  She became involved with Voices of Banks as she felt that she had a responsibility to show the next generation that there can be hope for better outcomes. She has been closely watching other communities and knows that the Voices of movement is effective in achieving better politics if we all work together.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and her career has incorporated experience in business analysis, systems development, marketing, project management, finance and administration and has worked predominately in large corporates (incl Qantas and Toyota) and in the consulting space.  Elissa is supporting the people of Banks to achieve political representation that genuinely reflects our communities issues and concerns - she is passionate about protecting and enhancing the democratic process.  

Nina, a resident of the Banks electorate, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce and has furthered her education with studies in design, IT and psychology. Her professional experience spans notable companies in both IT and Marketing.
