Premier Chris Minns and Planning Minister Paul Scully; We call on you to work collaboratively with the Georges River Council to develop a feasible re-development plan for Beverly Hills- a plan that has appropriate investment in infrastructure and will serve the whole of our community.
Keep Beverly Hills Liveable
Right now, the NSW State Government is prioritising greedy developers over the needs of the communities in Banks.
Instead of the Georges River Council plan to re-develop Beverly Hills – a plan that consulted the needs of communities – the State Government is proposing a 22 storey development proposal that will provide less housing. The State Government proposal benefits developers and fails to meet the needs of our community.
The decision is pending – but with the NSW election looming, we know community opposition is the last thing the State Government wants. If enough of us come together to demand a liveable suburb with genuine public green space and an investment in infrastructure to support the increased population, they’ll have to listen.
Will you sign the petition calling on Premier Minns and Planning Minister Scully to support the Georges River Council re-development plan, and put community before developers?
